Hilda Gibbens died suddenly in 1953 when she was in her 40s. There are no photographs of her. Nobody can remember much about her. But she was a much-loved wife, mother and friend.

This zine sees Jane Gibbens Murphy attempt to piece together what little remains of Hilda’s story to ensure her name lives on. But sticking to the facts isn’t always easy when so many other stories keep getting in the way…
