You Will Find the Way by Blaise Moritz (Colossive Cartographies 36)

The average foldout map is fun, but can be limited: it only claims to describe finite spaces and while it may help you get from here to there, it may also frustrate you. If you can’t decipher it or you get turned around or you think you’ve found errors, it will likely go on insisting that it represents where you are. Here is a map that is on your side. It is designed to help you get anywhere and to remind you of the beauty of the paths you trace as you go your way.

Blaise Moritz is an artist based in East Toronto, Canada.

All royalties from sales of this zine go to St Christopher’s hospice.

A4, full colour, folded to A6. Also available as part of a six-issue subscription (Series Six).

Colossive Cartographies is an attempt to create a print equivalent of a series of seven-inch singles. Using a simple pop-out format based on the Turkish map fold, we’re collaborating with creators including cartoonists, fine artists, poets, writers and photographers to bring an unpredictable range of visual practice into a hand-folded treat.
