False Alarm: The Collapse of False-Face by Ed Pinsent (Colossive Cartographies 51)

£2.00

False Alarm is a fleeting glimpse of False-Face, arguably the least memorable of all Batman villains; in DC Comics, he appeared in print but once. In Illegal Batman’s world, he somehow manages to plant fakes everywhere, and still elude capture.

He’s back! Ed Pinsent is our first-ever returning cartographer, having previously created Colossive Cartographies 42: Astorial Cutaway. A godfather of the UK small press comics scene, Ed is the creator of characters such as Windy Wilberforce, Primitif, Henrietta La Folle, Illegal Batman and Drake Ullingsworth – as well as numerous peculiar short stories, fables and poetic comics.

A4, full colour, folded to A6. Also available as part of a six-issue subscription (Series Nine).

Colossive Cartographies use a simple pop-out format based on the Turkish map fold. We’re collaborating with creators including cartoonists, fine artists, poets, writers and photographers to bring an unpredictable range of visual practice into a hand-folded treat.
