The Badly Drawn Girl… by Patrick Wray (Colossive Cartographies 70)
£2.00
“The Badly Drawn Girl Climbs Out of the Drawing and Runs Into the Entrance of Turnpike Lane Tube Station”
…and yes, that is our longest Colossive Cartographies title yet. And no, the girl isn’t badly drawn in the slightest. Patrick is just being modest.
Patrick Wray is an artist and comic creator, best known for The Flood that Did Come (Avery Hill), Grandad Reg (kuš!) and Ghost Stories I Remember (Colossive Press – ooh, that’s us!). His first Colossive Cartography, Mirror Mirror, was really rather good, too.
A4, full colour, folded to A6. Also available as part of the six-issue Series Twelve set.
Colossive Cartographies use a simple pop-out format based on the Turkish map fold. We’re collaborating with creators including cartoonists, fine artists, poets, writers and photographers to bring an unpredictable range of visual practice into a hand-folded treat.
