Description
Three true queer tales from the south-east of England in the 1970s and 1980s, told in the words of the people who helped make them happen. Discover the stories behind a first-of-its-kind B&B in a sleepy seaside town, legendary queer discos on a Kent farm and a gay bar in a zoo…
Alf Le Flohic is an independent researcher into the LGBTIQ+ history of the south coast of England. His favourite kind of history is oral. While his focus is usually the Brighton & Hove area, these recently collected tales cover towns and rural locations in both Kent and Sussex. He is currently working on a history of the Sussex Gay Liberation Front 1971–76.
