The Sussex Lancers: Tailor-Made Leather Lovers

£8.00

‘Fashion. Fetish. Freedom.’

This is the tale of a Sussex-based group of gay bikers and leather enthusiasts, following their travels from the 1960s fashion industry to a very different landscape at the end of the 20th century.

Despite the official archive of the Sussex Lancers being destroyed, Alf Le Flohic has pieced together their story. Minority history is rarely treasured and easily lost, so this collection reflects years of interviews, archive research and the generosity of private collectors to make it possible.
